Operator of the online shop and applicability of these General Terms and Conditions

This online shop is operated directly by Carrousel the Store HandeslgmbH, Spiegelgasse 2, A-1010 Vienna. The Carrousel the Store HandelsgmbH is registered in Austria at the National Court Register of the Commercial Court of Vienna (FN399555g).

Without the agreement of the client to these Terms and Conditions a purchase is not possible.

We sell our products exclusively to consumers and only in commercial quantities. All information about products and prices to "www.carrouselthestore.com" are not-binding and without obligation.

Conclusion of contract

You are bound by your order once you have clicked the Submit order button at the end of the ordering process.

After you have placed your order, we shall send you an automated order confirmation to your e-mail address. The order confirmation will inform the buyer only on receipt of his order. A purchase agreement is thereby not concluded.

We explicitly reserve the right not to accept your order, or to cancel the purchase agreement after the automated order confirmation. The purchase agreement will only be concluded with the shipment of the ordered items and a separate confirmation of that.

A minimum delivery value does not exist.

Availability and delivery time of goods

If you order multiple items and certain items are no longer available, we unfortunately cannot completely fulfill your order. In such a case, we reserve the right to choose whether to complete part of the order or to reject it in full. We will notify you of this immediately by e-mail.

If the goods you have ordered are available, the time until delivery to the address you provided is about 2-15 business days after receipt of your order in the normal course of business. For orders on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, this delivery period begins on the following business day. You will find a more detailed version to the delivery time in the column of "Shipping and Returns"

The delivery is made Worldwide by Austrian Mail, UPS or DHL.

Price

All the prices on Carrousel The Store are indicated in EUR.

For European Union customers, the indicated prices are inclusive the statutory value added tax of each country of destination. The tax amount is of course disclosed on your invoice. Orders delivered within the EU are not subject to customs duties and import taxes.

For deliveries to foreign countries outside of the EU, the value added tax does not apply. Please note for deliveries outside the EU additional customs duties, taxes and fees may be incurred, which shall be borne by the buyer in the full amount. We have no control on the customs fees or any other fees that may be incurred in your country. Therefore, if you have any doubt about these fees we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Shipping costs will be added per order. The exact amount for the shipping costs depends on the country where your order should be sent. Full details about our shipping costs for each country, you’ll find in the column of "Shipping and Returns".

Payment methods

You can choose from different ways of paying:

Payment by credit card (Visa and Mastercard)

Payment by bank transfer: when selecting the payment type „Bank Deposit“, you`ll get a separate e-mail with our bank account details.

Payment by PayPal

Please note that you may be subject to additional charges for transfers, account processing, etc. due to the agreements you have concluded with your credit institutions or other institutions.

We reserve the right to limit or expand the use of the above ways of paying to the use of one or more payment methods in a case-by-case basis.

Retention of title

The delivered goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price and all associated costs and expenses. If all or part of the payment is delayed, we are entitled to assert our rights to retention of title.

Warranty and damages

It shall apply the statutory warranty provisions. All information about the items are specifications and no guarantees.

We shall only be liable for intentional or grossly negligent actions by us, our agents and/or legal representatives. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. This limitation of liability does not apply if the main obligations of the contract are violated by us, our agents and / or legal representatives This exclusion does not apply for the breach of contractual core duties by Carrousel the Store, its auxiliary persons or legal agents. Contractual core duties abstractly are such duties whose accomplishment enables proper fulfilment of the contract in the first place and whose fulfilment a contractual party regularly may rely on. Liability pursuant to the Austrian Product Liability Act and other mandatory legal stipulations remains unaffected. The liability of Carrousel the Store is unlimited for damages arising out of death, injury to body or health based on a breach conducted by a legal representative or designated agent of Carrousel the Store.

Claims based on the Produkthaftungsgesetz (Product Liability Act) remain unaffected.

Copyright and trademark

The website we operate and its content, especially texts, photos, images, graphics, prints, textile designs, films, presentations, sounds, illustrations, and software, as well as all trademark and/or design patents are all protected from unauthorized use by industrial property rights, especially copyrights, naming and image rights, trademarks and/or registered or unregistered design patents. Every use aside from the selection and purchase of an item requires our prior written consent or, if we do not possess the rights in question, the prior written consent of the right holder.

Applicable law

Substantive Austrian law applies to the exclusion of the conflict of law rules of international private law and to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Refusal to Process an Order

Carrousel The Store HandelsgmbH reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order from a customer in the following circumstances:

  • In cases where a previous payment issue remains unresolved;
  • Where there are reasonable and objective grounds to suspect fraudulent activity;
  • Where a pattern of frequent or excessive returns suggests potential misuse of the return policy.

In the case of customers with frequent or high-volume returns, Carrousel The Store HandelsgmbH may contact the customer by email to discuss how to improve the shopping experience and reduce return rates. In such cases, updated terms of service or return conditions may be applied, in line with applicable consumer protection laws. The customer will be informed of any such changes in advance.

Carrousel The Store HandelsgmbH also reserves the right to remove any product from the website at any time and to update or modify any information or content on the site without prior notice. These changes may occur even after an order confirmation email has been sent. In such cases, customers will be informed as soon as possible and any payments already made will be refunded without undue delay.

Carrousel The Store HandelsgmbH shall not be held liable to the customer or any third party for any consequences resulting from:

  • The removal of a product from the website;

  • The modification or replacement of any site content;

  • The refusal to process an order after confirmation has been sent, provided that any amounts paid are refunded promptly in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

Promotional Orders

Orders exceeding €700 are eligible for complimentary shipping.

In the event of a return (full or partial return that reduces the order value below the minimum threshold required for free delivery) of items purchased under this promotion, a €25 restocking fee for EU orders and €45 restocking fee for non-EU orders will be deducted from the refund. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer and are non-refundable.

No price adjustments or retroactive application of promotions will be made to previously placed orders.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the date on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g., per email). You may contact us at:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract without stating a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. No fees will be charged for such a withdrawal.

To initiate the return process, please notify us by email at sales@carrouselthestore.com. Once we confirm your request and provide return instructions, you must ship the returned goods within 7 calendar days of receiving our confirmation.

Returned items must be in original condition, without signs of wear, use, washing, damage, or alteration. Items must be free from stains, tears, odors (including perfume), and must be returned in the original packaging, including all accessories such as dust bags, spare shoelaces, price tags, brand labels, etc.

Returns not meeting these conditions will be refused and sent back to the customer. We reserve the right to reject any return that does not comply with the above conditions.

Returns sent without prior confirmation from us will not be accepted and will be returned at your expense. Requests or returns made outside the specified timeframes (14 days for withdrawal notice & 7 days for shipment) will not be accepted. Customers will be notified of such rejections via email.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will process your refund within a maximum of 5 working days. The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. You will not incur any fees for the refund. Please note that it may take up to 5 working days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

1. European Union (EU) Returns
For returns from customers within the European Union, please indicate which item(s) you wish to return when requesting return confirmation.

Upon request, we may provide customers with a prepaid return label and will inform them of any associated costs in advance. If the customer elects to use the prepaid return label, the cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount once the label has been used. Customers may alternatively return item(s) using a carrier of their own choice at their own expense.  

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

2. Non-European Union Returns

For returns from customers outside the European Union, please indicate which item(s) you wish to return when requesting return confirmation.

Upon request, we may provide customers with a prepaid return label and will inform them of any associated costs in advance. If the customer elects to use the prepaid return label, the cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount once the label has been used. Customers may alternatively return item(s) using a carrier of their own choice at their own expense. For international returns, we will provide the necessary return documentation for customs purposes. Customers are required to use the documentation provided and ensure that all customs declarations are completed accurately and in full. Any additional charges, duties, taxes, fees, or other costs arising from incomplete or incorrect customs declarations, or from failure to use the documentation provided, shall remain the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from the refund amount. 

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Returned items are expected to arrive within 7 days from the return confirmation date.

Additionally, any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other charges paid at the time of delivery are non-refundable. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed if the item is returned.

If a parcel is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, we will refund the original transaction amount minus any costs incurred.

If delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by you, failure to receive the parcel, or failure to collect it from the pick-up point after two delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund the transaction amount minus any applicable costs.

Effects of Partial Withdrawal

If your partial withdrawal reduces the order value below the minimum threshold required for free delivery, the previously waived shipping cost will be charged retroactively and deducted from your refund.

Clearance sale products

Items on clearance sale cannot be returned.

Returns of jewellery will not be accepted.
