Bergfabel was founded in Italy in 2011 by designer Claus Planck. The brand name is a combination of the German word “Berg” which means hill or mountain, and “Fable” which means story.

With a background of life surrounded by the wilderness of the Tyrol region near the border between Italy and Austria, where the designer was born and raised, the company uses carefully selected materials and textiles to create products incorporating the wardrobe culture and traditions of the local people.
